Newbook & National ARVC host competition to win $1,000 at OHCE

NewBook has partnered with National ARVC to give away $1,000 at the annual OHCE2022 conference, Nov. 7-10 in Orlando.

Hosted at the NewBook booth #206, attendees can step inside a video booth to share their favorite camping memory in 30 seconds or less to be in the drawing to win.

“NewBook is all about creating operational flow for our customers, which enables them to create memorable guest experiences. And that is what it’s really all about! So, we wanted to create something fun and nostalgic this OHCE, to remember why we’re all in this amazing industry.” said Blake, NewBook’s Chief Growth Officer.

A huge 58% of North American RV Parks have experienced growth in occupancy year over year and travel trends indicate that guests are valuing experiences above all. With more people camping than ever, NewBook and National ARVC hope to spark inspiration and ideas on how operators can think about how they are creating memorable experiences for campers.

David Basler, National ARVC’s senior vice president of membership and marketing, shared that “camping is often something we remember so fondly from our childhood years. Many of our most cherished, funny, and memorable moments in life have come from sharing is mores and silly stories around the campfire, or getting lost on that hike in the wilderness, which turned out to be one of the best moments of the trip. So, we want to hear your favorite memory!”

Attendees can enter the competition during the expo on Wednesday evening from 6-9pm and Thursday from 8.30am-2.30pm.

Winners will be announced by the NewBook and National ARVC team at the “Get Jazzed for Kansas City” Closing Reception on Thursday from 2:30-3:30pm.
